摘要: The practical realization of a two-digit instantaneously adaptive delta modulator that uses both ‘memory’ and ‘look ahead’ step estimation is presented. Its output consists binary ternary digit. This results in wide changes or the feedback waveform hence reduced overshoots fast response to input signal variations. Performance evaluation made by signal-to-noise ratio measurements for an 800 Hz sinusoid verifies computer simulation showing noticeable improvement compared with constant factor modulation system operating at same bit rate, thus proving system's coding efficiency.
