摘要: The eradication of parasitic diseases is not a new concept. most successful programs parasite have occurred with species veterinary importance. first such program, the Texas Cattle Fever from United States, one great success stories disease eradication. American screwworm program ongoing and serving as guiding impetus for many or proposed vector schemes around world. these prompted similar operations in human health. Although they once led way, parasitologists taken second place planning. only three importance that been targets recent are Hypoderma Great Britain Europe, Cochliomyia hominivorax after its introduction into Libya Americas, Echinococcus granulosus Tasmania, Australia. There also work on tick, Amblyomma variegatum, Caribbean Islands. Some animal targeted under auspices programs, notably tsetse fly parts all Africa. This paper reviews some past presents brief summary history methods used planned, potential controversies surrounding their implementation.
