摘要: The present invention provides a hypermedia database for managing bookmarks, which allows user to organize hypertext documents querying, navigating, sharing and viewing. In addition, the also access control information in database. of parses meta-data from bookmarked indexes classifies documents. supports advanced query navigation collection especially providing various personalized bookmark services. one embodiment, utilizes proxy server observe user's patterns provide useful services, such as automated URL bookmarking, document refresh, expiration. may specify preference management, e.g., ranking schemes (i.e. by referral, frequency, or popularity) tree fan-out. A subscription service retrieves new updated user-specified interests is provided.
