摘要: Abstract A facile way of fabricating efficient blocking layer on mesoporous TiO2 film dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) is demonstrated here for the first time. Al2O3 and are combined together to form a layer. simple spin coating technique employed which versatile low-cost method over atomic deposition (ALD) technique. Multifunctional alumina/titania (Al2O3/TiO2) hybrid overlayer prepared traditional nanocrystalline thin surface, through sequential AlCl3·6H2O TiCl4 precursor solutions followed by sintering at 500 °C 30 min. effectively plays its role in retarding interfacial recombination electrons improving open circuit potential (Voc), while tiny clusters synthesized from treatment act as electron transporting channels facilitate diffusion leads enhanced photocurrent (Jsc). Compared device without layer, DSSCs assembled with Al2O3/TiO2 showed improvement Jsc (from 13.09 mA/cm2 16.90 mA/cm2) well Voc 0.72 V 0.73 V) resulting much better conversion efficiency 8.60%.
