摘要: This paper presents a mathematical model able to quantify mixing efficiency in Supercritical Water Hydrothermal Reactors (SWHR) for the production of different types nanoparticles. In fact, plays crucial role determining final particle size distribution and therefore product quality. this work, supercritical water streams is studied with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) by using Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes (RANS) approach coupled an equation state micromixing model, take into account effect molecular mixing. The performance investigated three scenarios, corresponding very values Richardson number mixer configurations. main results show how can be quantified means global time turbulence enhances process, leading better characteristics, especially terms lower mean narrower distributions. confirms previous research on topic, highlighting fact that both are strongly dependent features SWHR.
