摘要: This paper presents a study of power quality problems created by UHP electric arc furnace (EAF) operation at system. We are analyzing an 100 t capacity used for steel melting, and the related treatment installation. The measurements have been made using CA8334 three-phase analyser. Experimental results show that EAF substantial source disturbances, such as voltage fluctuations, flicker, harmonics, unbalance between phases. Improvement energetic performances imposes careful technical economical analysis, choosing possible solutions balancing load on phases, improving wave forms (current voltage) factor.
