摘要: Sm2O3-doped fluorosilicate glasses (SiO2þNb2O5þK2OþZnF2) were prepared by the melt quenching technique and are characterized through various spectroscopic techniques such as Raman, optical absorption, excitation, emission decay to derive properties. Raman analysis has been carried out in order know vibrational groups present glass matrix. The band gap Urbach energies have evaluated from absorption edges of spectra 1.0 mol% Sm2O3 doped glass.
