摘要: Biomass ( e.g ., plant biomass, animal and municipal waste biomass) is processed to produce useful intermediates products, such as energy, fuels, foods or materials. For example, equipment, systems methods are described that can be used treat feedstock materials, cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic in a vault which hazardous gases removed, destroyed converted. The treatments efficient reduce the recalcitrance of material so it easier an intermediate product, sugars, alcohols, sugar alcohols from material.
