摘要: Nonlinear finite element analysis of dowel‐jointed concrete pavements is presented. The nonlinearities considered are cracking in tension, compressive yielding concrete, and loss support due to lift‐off because temperature gradients. Smeared representation cracks a plasticity‐based material model employed. Loss removal subgrade through pumping considered. Analysis doweled joint subjected shear loading performed obtain dowel‐concrete interface response characteristics.
