摘要: The serotonin (5-HT) neurotransmitter system is implicated in the etiology of aggression, impulsivity, and suicide (for a recent review, see Oquendo Mann, 2000). Data increasingly indicate that level serotonergic transmission dictates behavior not vice versa. A abnormality may underlie aggression-impulsivity be diathesis for suicidal behavior. can anatomically restricted to discrete brain region or affect “circuits,” including ventral prefrontal cortex.
