摘要: Abstract Background and objectives Prior research has indicated a number of neuropsychological deficits in patients with OCD consistent the cortico-striato-thalamo-cortical model disorder. Response inhibition (RI), defined as inability to inhibit prepotent response, been identified possible candidate endophenotype for OCD. However, results from previous studies RI have mixed, suggesting possibility that some dimensions may be associated while others not. The present study aimed examine using Go/No-Go (GNG) task two symptom dimensions, one which, scrupulosity, never subject investigation. Methods A total 63 individuals, consisting scrupulous (n = 26), contamination (n = 18) non-psychiatric controls (n = 19) completed measures. Controlling depression symptoms, no significant performance differences were found between groups on GNG test, indicating among or Results are several prior compared controls, especially tests, more recent suggestions not constitute clinical impaired domain Limitations included primarily highly educated Causasian sample. Conclusions Additional conclusions include careful consideration measures selected future studies, well need further investigation into neurobiological nature
