The Photodynamic Properties and the Genotoxicity of Heat-Treated Silicalite-1 Films

摘要: We investigated the use of a supported silicalite-1 film (SF) as promising coating for metallic materials used in fabrication prostheses. The role carbonaceous residua present on high-temperature calcined-SF generating singlet oxygen future sterilization method has also been addressed, and potential genotoxicity these osteoblast-like cells investigated. Calcination as-synthesized SF induced appearance rather complicated mixture aliphatic aromatic species its outer surface. A series variously volatile polycyclic hydrocarbons (PAH), including naphthalene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, were identified micromole concentrations. Irradiation PAHs immersed air-saturated chloroform led to formation very low concentrations oxygen. However, an increased level DNA damage was observed by immunofluorescence staining phosphorylated histone H2AX analyzed flow cytometry.
