摘要: Handoffs for neonatal resuscitation involve communicating critical delivery information (CDI). The authors sought to achieve ≥95% communication of CDI during team requests. included name caller, urgency request, location delivery, gestation fetus, status amniotic fluid, and indication presence the team. Three interventions were implemented: verbal scripted handoff, Spok text messaging, Engage messaging. Percentages communications analyzed using statistical process control. Following implementation Engage, all CDI, except indication, was ≥95%; occurred 93% time. Control limits most narrower with indicating greater reliability compared handoff Spok. Delayed arrival, a countermeasure, not higher messaging ( P = 1.00). Text improved high-risk deliveries, it may represent an effective tool other centers.
