摘要: Species specific levels of genetic diversity are necessary for the viability populations. Erebia epiphron (Lepidoptera: Satyrinae) is a relic species in Sudetan Mountains, Czech Republic. These populations represent suitable study object to test population effects large, small and introduced by means allozyme electrophoresis. A large continuous viable (>100,000 individuals) shows significantly higher than isolated declining (ca. 5000 individuals), which most probably was founded during Little Ice Age 17th 18th centuries became afterwards. In 1932 1933, 50 females were transferred from Krkonose where they established quickly expanding population. The number individuals sufficient transfer natural Due elevation comparison native range, this allocation might safeguard survival race E. even under conditions global warming.
