摘要: Abstract Background . We reported that bronchioloalveolar adenocarcinoma (BAC) without active fibroblastic proliferation of the lung had no lymph node and pulmonary metastasis a favorable prognosis. However, there has been prospective trial regarding limited resection for this type BAC. The purpose study is to confirm effectiveness histologically confirmed BAC proliferation. Methods From 1996 through 1999, 42 patients who small peripheral tumors (≦ 20 mm), suspected being BAC, were enrolled in trial. patient population consisted 24 men 18 women with mean age 58.4 years. Limited was completed when both metastasis, by intraoperative pathologic examination. Results 36 patients, wedge 34, segmentectomy 2 patients. In 6 procedure converted into lobectomy because invasive sign 3, 1, other reasons All have followed median follow-up period 30 months are alive recurrence. Conclusions Our early results indicate may be an acceptable alternative
