摘要: Abstract Adlayer structures of naphthalene and biphenyl on well-defined Rh(111) Pt(111) electrodes were investigated in HF solution using situ scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). A highly ordered adlayer was found to form with a (3√3 × 3√3)R30° structure, whereas disordered adlayers observed Pt(111). The longer molecular axis aligned along the close-packed atomic rows both Rh Pt. On other hand, √3 direction Rh(111). influence structure arrangement adsorbates is discussed, based biphenyl. desorption process carefully at potentials near hydrogen evolution reaction. Naphthalene adsorbed step edges or holes stable against replacement hydrogen. Pt(111), randomly, resulting an isolated molecules. These molecules clearly discerned STM, indicating strongly attached
