摘要: AbstractThe technology of terrestrial laser scanning has widely been used in the surveying industry recent years due to higher data collecting productivity compared traditional tacheometric survey. The aim this study is assess generalization errors topographic surveys landforms on basis a large vegetation free semi-coke landfill hill with relative height 116 m North-East Estonia. numerical assessment proceeded by comparing high-resolution (TLS) 3D surface model models generated from sparser steps (10, 20, 30 and 50 m). 10 20 step yield discrepancies within ± cm. revealed slightly larger differences. Expectedly largest elevation differences reaching up 2.5 were associated point step.
