摘要: Penicillium puberulum Bainer was found growing on a sample of moldy peanuts. It also grows shredded wheat, potatoes, and laboratory culture media such as wort, potato dextrose, Sabouraud agars, synthesizes aflatoxin these substrates. Thin-layer chromatograms the chloroform-soluble toxin produced by mold when grown wheat show fluorescent bands with R F values identical those fractions B 1 , 2 G Aspergillus flavus. This extract produces typical bile duct proliferation type liver damage in 2-to 3-day-old Peking white ducklings.
