摘要: Abstract Over the past two decades there has been a proliferation of energy kiosks across Africa and other parts developing world. Typically drawing on solar power, these enterprises provide services such as mobile phone lantern recharging to (largely) rural communities with limited or no access electricity. This article develops broad analytical framework for evaluating outcomes kiosks, taking into consideration long-term commercial viability, positive community impacts, dissemination improved lighting products, provision credit. Using three case studies, this applies developed critically evaluate NGO's kiosk programme in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
