摘要: Canine babesiosis is a clinically important disease encountered around the globe. In India, disease, caused by large form of Babesia thought to be exclusively due B. canis, which identified on basis microscopic examination blood smears. It now well accepted that canis dogs across world may look similar but vary in geographical distribution, tick vector preference, immunogenicity and pathogenicity. The present study was undertaken three clinical cases from northern India identify parasite at subspecies level. PCR based amplification target DNA using specific primers for different revealed presence vogeli all cases.
