Water-repellent and corrosion-resistance properties of superhydrophobic and lubricant-infused super slippery surfaces

摘要: Inspired by lotus leaves and pitcher plants, superhydrophobic surfaces super slippery have been fabricated to improve the characteristics of AZ31 magnesium alloy surfaces. Here, a surface with hierarchical structure was constructed on via one-step, environmentally friendly method, liquid-infused porous (SLIPS) obtained immersing in perfluoropolyether. Compared an untreated prepared coating, SLIPS coating showed good corrosion resistance 3.5 wt% NaCl solution according electrochemical tests.
