摘要: Natural organic compounds such as phytoestrogens and phytosterols found in various plants, well mycotoxins produced by fungi, can be aquatic environments. The aim of this study was to investigate the occurrence three different classes natural estrogenic compounds, i.e., phytoestrogens, mycotoxins, estuarine water samples from Ave River estuary. For that, were collected at five sampling points distributed along estuary low tide, during 1 year, processed solid-phase extraction (SPE) analyzed gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (GC-MS). To correlate presence water, local flora on riverside. Trace elements content physicochemical parameters nutrients dissolved oxygen also determined seasonally each point, give insights for evaluation quality anthropogenic pressure. Both showed a seasonal variation, with highest values observed spring summer lowest winter. Daidzein (DAID) up 404.0 ng L(-1) coumestrol (COUM) 165.0 ng L(-1) summer. mycotoxin deoxynivalenol (DON) ubiquitously ranging 59.5 642.4 ng L(-1). Nutrients metals distribution concentration varied among stations seasons. This revealed first time stigmasterol (STG) (Portugal), confirmed that is still highly impacted activities.
