Pelvic organ prolapse contributes to sexual dysfunction: a cross‐sectional study

摘要: Objective. To evaluate the effect of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) on female sexual dysfunction. Design. Cross-sectional, observational study. Setting. Gynecological outpatient and urogynecological university clinics in Greece. Population. One hundred one women with POP seen urogynecology clinic (study group) 70 without gynecology department (control group). Methods. Women completed a condition-specific dysfunction questionnaire (DYSQ) comprising four domains: behavior; physical problems other than urinary incontinence; incontinence problems; satisfaction. Pelvic was assessed by International Continence Society Organ Prolapse Quantification System grading system. The primary outcome study assessment function DYSQ POP. Main measures.
