摘要: Debates over the merits and demerits of globalisation for health are increasingly polarised. Conclusions range from being essentially positive health, albeit with a need to smooth out some rough edges, one utter condemnation, adverse effects on majority world's population. Anyone wading into this debate is immediately confronted by seemingly irreconcilable differences in ideology, opinion interests. Both camps agree that global changes occurring, them many determinants population status. While skepticism persists about whether “globalisation” has value beyond fashionable buzzword, most we better understanding these changes. Two difficult questions arise: (i) What impacts changes; (ii) how can respond more effectively them? To move stand-offs have already formed within community, paper reviews main empirical evidence currently exists, summarises key points remain, suggests ways forward research policy communities. In particular, there an informed inclusive negative consequences globalisation.
