摘要: Abstract The Bi0.825Sm0.175FeO3 (BSFO) ceramics were prepared by solid state reaction route and the structural, vibrational, multiferroic properties of these was studied. BiFeO3 (BFO) at higher sintering temperature i. e. 850 °C compared to that ceramic normal (i. 830 °C). Rietveld-refined structure revealed rhombohedral R3c symmetry in BFO a mixed phase (R3c 38.26% + Pnma 61.74%) BSFO for sintered 830 °C. formation separate SmFeO3 (Pbnm; 12.16%) along with (Pn21a; 87.84%) observed 850 °C. small change led changes Raman spectra accompanying abrupt ferroelectric properties. shows strong ferromagnetic characteristic due spin canting bulk BFO. net macroscopic magnetization Sm doping exist suppression modulated spiral structure. 830 °C polarization (2Pr) 7.3723 μC/cm2 an applied field 15 kV/cm but no room temperature. presence reasonable make this material suitable application.
