摘要: Abstract This paper presents the work that is being done as a part of project to develop resistive current limiter using HTS Bi-2223/Ag tapes with same construction scheme previously reported LTS NbTi/CuNi wire normal operating 170 A in liquid helium bath. The Bi–2223/Ag tape was helically wounded on several cylindrical G-10 tubes forming concentric coils connected series, parallel or anti-parallel configurations order reduce equivalent inductance complete winding. design targets are impedance electromagnetic system rising 1.5 Ω during fault occurrence absence both state and superconducting state, rated voltage 15 kV 400 A, respectively, maximum flux density 0.1 T. test results low (AC/DC) well magnetic field measurements at 77 K 4.2 presented limiting performance also discussed.
