Soft capacitance fibers for touch-sensitive smart textiles

摘要: Abstract: We start with an overview of state-of-the-art tactile sensor technology. then detail sensors based on the novel soft capacitor fibers developed by our group and go to introduce a theoretical model describe electrical response single fiber using ladder network show that such can function as touch-sensitive sensor. Effects different parameters sensing performance are also studied. Finally we argue ideally suited for wearable touch-sensing proof this concept present prototype woven touchpad featuring one-dimensional array fibers, study its performance.
