摘要: Abstract This paper develops and tests a conceptual environmental risk assessment management framework to guide businesses other stakeholders, including government, in defining addressing potential problems ocean shipping port operations. The aims protect the natural environment its ecosystem services while at same time allowing society obtain goods benefits from seas. As such it integrates three elements: firstly, criteria required achieve sustainable that, secondly, underpin problem structuring method which, thirdly, can be assessed using an ISO Bow-tie industry standard analysis tool. Ocean pollution water air-borne discharges are used illustrate this framework; uses input exploratory research study with maritime practitioners which investigated veracity for use, highlighting shortcomings.
