Whipple's disease: a difficult diagnosis?

摘要: We present 3 patients with Whipple's disease all characterized by a longstanding prodromal period progressive weight loss, diarrhoea, lymphadenitis and arthralgia or arthritis. Sarcoid-like was diagnosed in one patient. He treated antibiotics. Initially his condition improved; however, cerebral relapse developed which successfully ceftriaxone cefixime. Extraintestinal (lymph node localisation) another patient A third case of unexpectedly laparotomy partial small bowel resection. not till 2 years later tetracycline. After 1 year treatment had improved.
