摘要: The need to use energy and raw materials more efficiently the ever increasing customer requirements are forcing automotive producers sheet metal forming industry lightweight construction materials. Materials such as aluminium, magnesium, ultra high strength steels tailored blanks rapidly gaining importance in industries. These modern metals dictate both layout of tools processes, often consider innovative production methods like press hardening, hydroforming or speed ensure that required component quality is maintained. An essential prerequisite when employing technologies reliable flow curve, work technological boundaries tribological systems information. A concept takes a holistic approach determining relevant parameters, considering FE-simulation particular, was developed at Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools Forming Technology IWU. Within this established testing combined with new characterising concepts used describe phenomena spring back, anisotropy Bauschinger effect. interaction between piece material, tool material lubricant can, help information, be described precisely an FE-simulation. implementation knowledge practice, combination FE-simulation, contributes significantly effective method planning, manufacture. presentation gives short overview research results date show challenges characterisation. summary some latest developments IWU will also shown.
