摘要: Low cost carbonaceous materials were evaluated for their ability to remove phenol from wastewater. The effects of adsorbents dosage, contact time and maximum adsorption capacity investigated granular activated carbon, powdered petroleum coke multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT). Equilibrium studies conducted in 50mg/L initial concentration, solution pH 5 at temperature 23°C. results showed the process was fast it reached equilibrium 3 h. Petroleum MWNT had poor which could reach removal efficiency with 43.18% 36.64% respectively. possessed good 96.40% optimum dosage 5g 90min.The an effective adsorbent a 42.32 mg/g.
