摘要: Strain differences in the vulnerability of hippocampal neurons to an ischaemic insult were investigated Sprague-Dawley, Wistar and Fischer 344 rats. Transient global brain ischaemia was produced for 5 minutes by a combination bilateral carotid artery occlusion oligaemic hypotension (40 mmHg) induced exsanguination. The number viable CA1 subfield counted under light microscope 7 days after insult. density normal rats around 150 cells/mm length all strains examined; ischaemia, this parameter strain approximately 110, 120, 70, respectively. results suggest that are more vulnerable than those other strains. There many F344 (8/21) which showed atypical vasculature patterns posterior region circle Willis, suggesting less blood flow through anastomosis from basilar cerebral and/or ill-balanced between left right hemispheres. These anatomical variations Willis may part contribute ischaemia.
