On the detection of ultra high energy neutrinos with the Auger observatory

摘要: Abstract We show that the Auger Air Shower Array has potential to detect neutrinos of energies in 1019 eV range through horizontal air showers. Assuming some simple conservative trigger requirements, we obtain acceptance for showers as induced by high energy two alternative methods and then give expected event rates a variety neutrino fluxes predicted different models which are used reference.
