摘要: An apparatus and method is provided for optimizing LED driver efficiency. The present invention offers low cost solutions powering LEDs while minimizing overall power dissipation in devices powered by a depletable source. Low system attained using charge pump to increase drive voltage level implementing combinations of techniques overcome the inefficiency pump. A switch bypasses when source output sufficient directly an load. At certain levels, can be opened causing boost voltage. may also PWM modulated load and, at some voltages, directly. Efficiency levels 90-97% are attainable.
