Do Local Government Reforms Result in Higher Levels of Trust in Local Politicians

摘要: AbstractLocal government reforms have been carried out in a number of European countries, aiming at both more effective service production and increased citizen participation local politics. Although extensive research has analysing the content background these reforms, few if any, studies considered democratic effects level individual citizen. This article investigates relationship between trust government, focusing on individual-level data Norway 2008. The analysis shows that it is difficult to find clear reform policies politicians. These findings parallel other contributions concluding substantial from re-organisations.
