摘要: Genistein is a soybean isoflavone with diverse biological activities. It potent antioxidant, specific inhibitor of protein tyrosine kinase, and phytoestrogen. In recent years, increasing evidence has accumulated that this natural ingredient shows preventative therapeutic effects for breast prostate cancers, postmenopausal syndrome, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases in animals humans. the past decade we have conducted series studies demonstrated genistein significant antiphotocarcinogenic antiphotoaging effects. substantially inhibits skin carcinogenesis cutaneous aging induced by ultraviolet (UV) light mice, photodamage The mechanisms action involve protection oxidative photodynamically damaged DNA, downregulation UVB-activated signal transduction cascades, antioxidant article, review activities genistein, as well published unpublished research from our laboratory. addition, discuss potential application to clinical dermatology.
