Education for children with severe and profound general learning disabilities in Ireland: factors influencing teachers’ decisions about teaching these pupils

摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived high turnover teachers working with pupils severe and profound general learning disabilities in Ireland. Questionnaires interviews were used explore situations which worked their reasons for leaving or staying teaching group pupils. found that while positive about group, conditions level support they received crucial factors determining whether remained post. These implications practice are discussed.
