摘要: Image quality in digital chest PA and pelvis AP was assessed using two different methods; one based on observations of images an anthropomorphic phantom, computer modelling voxel phantom. The tube voltage varied within a broad range (50-150 kV), including those values typically used with screen-film radiography. charge altered so that approximately the same effective dose achieved modelled patient (anthropomorphic phantom). Two x-ray units were employed image detector (computed radiography, CR, system) standard filtration anti-scatter device. Clinical by group radiologists visual grading analysis (VGA) technique revised CEC criteria. Physical derived from model terms signal-to-noise ratio, SNR for fixed uses Monte Carlo simulations complete imaging system. Both VGAS (visual score) increase decreasing both examinations, indicating superior performance if lower voltages than today are radiology. A positive correlation between clinical physical measures found. pros cons CR radiography analogue discussed as well relevance quantum noise quality.
