摘要: This paper presents the findings of a study on impact reclamation activities at northern coast Batam Island. The area is coastal Sub-District (Kelurahan) Bengkong Laut, Sadai and Tanjung Buntung. focus was changes in physical-chemical biological environment as well socioeconomy fishermen form fishery productivity income level. Field observation qualitative descriptive analysis were used an approach. Data gathered from government institutions set questionnaires handed out to total 89 respondents. Results showed that changed such morphology, hydro-oceanography, mangrove coral reefs deterioration. Other effects are hill-cutting tree-cutting surrounding get filling materials for project. Among consequences observed recorded flooding, erosions, sedimentations, adverse influences seawater quality, sea biota, local depletion several kinds fishes snappers, groupers, shrimps. These have reduced fishermen, forcing them switch other professions becoming tradesmen, laborers, farmers
