摘要: The aim of future IP-based wireless communications is to provide mobile users access the desired service with appropriate quality at any place. Besides mobility support and QoS provision, increase heterogeneous equally significant for fulfilling such a vision. This associated expanding core IP network infrastructure, raising scalability concerns, especially when large amount routers are managed as single domain. Configuring hierarchy an essential element scale networks where impact not yet fully explored. article first identifies key elements provision efficient hierarchical architecture second proposes inter-area handover policy that improves scalability. A simulation-based study demonstrates contribution proposed approach reduction routing signaling well MH blocking dropping rates.
