摘要: Mineral leaching from compost can be environmentally disruptive. Little information is available regarding trace mineral equine-sourced compost. The objective of this study was to quantify the content and potential produced feces horses fed different amounts forms (organic or inorganic) minerals. Nine were three treatments in a 3 × replicated Latin Square design. dietary provided as daily pellet: CON (pellet without added minerals), ING (added inorganic ORG organic minerals). minerals Co, Cu, Mn, Zn. Feces collected each horse after 16-day feeding period, combined with straw, composted, then subjected simulated rainfall measure mobility. Concentrations Zn greater compared (p < 0.05); additionally, had than 0.05). More Cu leached most ING, followed by ORG, least amount Dietary intake affected concentration leach during events.
