摘要: Neuronal development and maintenance are regulated by trophic interactions with the target tissues innervating nerve. The neurotrophin family of polypeptide growth factors, consisting nerve factor (NGF), brain-derived neurotrophic (BDNF), neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) neurotrophin-4/5 (NT-4/5), produced in limited amounts areas. They bind to tyrosine receptor kinases trk family, including trkA, trkB trkC, which mediate intracellular signalling responding neurons. There reports different isoforms trkC having capacities. This study a novel deletion first cysteine-rich domain extracellular part chicken trkC. We describe mRNA expression this isoform compared non-deleted forms E9 peripheral ganglia studied reversetranscriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) situ hybridization. also compare pattern two existing signal peptide sequences distribution detected use kinase specific probe. results show that is expressed sensory autonomic ganglia. Moreover both these RT-PCR. In addition, hybridization showed weak dorsal root ganglion (DRG) but not Remak's ganglion. peptides equally DRG ganglion, at labelling densities comparable those for full-length catalytic form
