摘要: The dilute sulfuric acid pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass is a well understood process that significantly enhances the yield glucose after enzymatic saccharification. goal this research was to perform systematic study evaluate fermentable sugars during co-catalyzed with transition metal Lewis salts: AlCl3, FeCl2, FeCl3, and La(OTf)3. All acids apart from FeCl2 reduced presence xylo-oligomers by large margin when compared non-co-catalyzed control sample pretreatments. these acts as inhibitors saccaharification step. La(OTf)3 were also able marginally increase overall digestibility specifically for corn stover pretreated at 160°C 10 mM acids. hard such AlCl3 increased formation inhibitory products furfural 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF). There good correlation between reduction concentration in hardness.
