摘要: Abstract The onset of analgesia elicited by electrical stimulation sites in the midbrain reticular formation was studied cats, using an experimentally produced pain that provides a measurable index perceived intensity. results showed develops gradually over period about five minutes or longer. This may be due to time required for recruitment critical number active neurons, release neurochemical agent which requires exert its effects on adjacent neurons at more distant neural areas.
