Scanning system for light beam displays

摘要: In a light beam scanning system in which an electro-mechanical scanner is utilized to provide horizontal scan of intensity modulated beam, alternate lines are reversed the time domain, so that both forward and return motions mechanism can be used display. The line reversal effected by converter mechanism, nonlinearities compensated for reading out signals during linear part motion or varying rate at read out.
