摘要: Abstract Large quantity of metal working fluid used for each day in industry cutting operations like milling, drilling, stamping, turning etc. But high consumption fluids creating some big problems occupational diseases to workers and environmental pollution also increasing the machining cost. To overcome drawbacks a new technique which provides better results by using lesser amount is known as Minimum lubrication. The performance minimum lubrication conventional can be further improved with help nanofluids. Nanofluids having suspended solid nanometer sized particles base oil improves thermal conductivity properties. aim this study was investigate effects Carbon nanotubes on American Iron Steel Institute (AISI) D2 steel carbon chromium AISI turned at different speed, feed tungsten carbide insert (CNMG 120408). experiment designed analyzed Taguchi design analysis MINITAB 16. optimized indicate that nanofluid (NFMQL) shows promising over terms zone temperature, surface roughness.
