摘要: Geomorphic processes influence flood hazards in the lowland fluvial-tidal transition area near Cosumnes River-Dry Creek-Mokelumne River Confluence, Central Valley, California. Anthropogenic changes inherently flood-prone floodplain, basin, and Delta Island landscape increase hazards. Levee construction flow regulation floods, increasing risks both agricultural rapidly urbanizing areas. Effective management requires a scale approach that addresses fluvial tidal accommodates current potentially higher future magnitudes sea levels.
