摘要: Abstract The above periodicities are the main hidden oscillating patterns detected so far in genomic sequences. 3-base periodicity is characteristic for protein-coding sequences only. source of approximately 10.5-base sequence period twofold. On one hand, coding alpha-helical coiled-coil regions proteins have 3.5 aminoacid repeat which appears as nucleotide other deformability DNA important its folding chromatin facilitated by periodical positioning certain dinucleotides along sequences, with close to 10.5 bases. There some features repeated at 400-base distances, nearly periodically. This due general segmented organization genomes, appear evolved fusion genome segments standard sizes, typical 350 bases eukaryotes and 440 prokaryotes. Respective half-units (about 200 bases) also frequently observed.
