摘要: This issue of the journal is devoted to social determinants health in urban settings and associated interventions that protect promote equity. The great disparity opportunities status between within different population groups countries at economic development levels one challenges for global community beginning 21st century. international debated issues poverty, development, a number major summits toward end 20th century, including Rio Earth Summit 1992 Copenhagen Social 1995. However, without specific targets or agreed dates achieving those targets, progress on equity was insufficient. One reason lack financial resources because noncompliance affluent with aid target 0.7% their GDP. At turn took up challenge better by formulating Millennium Development Goals 2000, many which include priority issues. Progress visible some goals, but not enough them be met year: 2015. address needs poorest people, inequities remain. It should also remembered Universal Declaration Human Rights, almost all have signed, expressly states people right live conditions life.
