摘要: Neuroendocrine lung tumors are usually classified into four histologic types that were shifted in the World Health Organization classification three entities: small cell carcinoma (SCLC), large neuroendocrine (LCNEC), and carcinoids (typical atypical).1,2 This subset of shares morphologic, ultrastructural, immunohistochemical, molecular characteristics. The main show varying degrees morphologic features, they behave according to grades clinical aggressivity, low-grade typical carcinoids, intermediate-grade atypical high-grade LCNECs SCLCs, which share many features including epidemiologic growth factor oncogenic pathways. However, concept a continuous spectrum from carcinoid SCLC has no other scientific basis than common differentiation.
